Representative Henry White was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006.

He was born in Limestone County, November 15, 1948, to Henry and Pearl White, and is one of eight children.

Representative White has been involved in education for more than 35 years and served six years on the Athens City Council. He holds a B.S. from the University of North Alabama, M.Ed. from the University of Montevallo and an A.A. from the University of North Alabama.

He is married to the former Marsha Ming and has two children, Cory and Lindsey, along with four granddaughters and two grandsons.
