Representative James C. Fields Jr. was elected to the House District 12 seat in a special election on January 29, 2008.
He and his wife Yvette are members of the United Methodist Church and have seven children and 13 grandchildren.
Representative Fields is a member of the Hanceville Civitan Club and the Colony Lions Club. He is also a member of Victim Services, North Alabama Council of Governments, Alabama Wildlife Federation, and is Vice-Chairman of Cullman Electric Cooperative.
