Representative W.F. (Frank) McDaniel was elected in 1990. He was born on March 18, 1937, and received his B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University. He and his wife, Pat, are the parents two children, David and Don. Representative McDaniel is the Retired President of McDaniel Tom's Sales, Inc. and is a past member of Tom's Foods National Distributors Council. Distinguished as Albertville's Citizen of the Year in 1984 and a Paul Harris Fellow, Representative McDaniel serves as a Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Albertville, Director and Co-founder of the Marshall County Corrections Program, is a member of the Regions Bank Board of Directors, and serves on the Snead College Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Legion of Honor for Burroughs Corporation, the Tennessee Valley Family Services Board, and has served on the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank Advisory Board. Representative McDaniel has served as past President of the Evans Elementary School PTA, past President of the Albertville Rotary Club, and Trustee and Past Chairman of Deacons at the First Baptist Church of Albertville. He currently serves on the Alabama Commerce Commission, House Education Committee, Joint Transportation Committee, Joint State Park Committee since 1991, as vice-chair of the Southern Legislative Conference's Committee on Commerce and Economic Development, and as Chairman of the Alabama Regional Councils' Revolving Loan Policy Committee.
