Representative Allen Treadaway was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006.
He was born on September 25, 1961, and received his Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission from the Birmingham Police Academy. Representative Treadway serves as a Police Lieutenant with the City of Birmingham.
He is a past president of the Birmingham Fraternal Order of Police, recognized as the Officer of the Year (1992) by the City of Birmingham and the Most Outstanding Member of the Year (2004-2005) by the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police.
Representative Treadway is a past director of Toys for Tots and a current Board member of the Birmingham Retirement and Relief System.
He and his wife, Susan are the parents of five children: Kelsey, Erin, Tyler, Ally and Cody, and they members of Enon Baptist Church.
