Representative Billy Beasley was elected in 1998. He was born on March 19, 1940, and received his B.S. Degree in Pharmacy from Auburn University in 1962. He and his wife, Rebecca, have five children: Martin, Brad, Margaret, Tom, and Rebecca. Representative Beasley is President of Pratts Station, LLC, and operates the Clayton Drug Company, Clio Drug Company, and Louisville Drug Store. A member of the Clayton United Methodist Church, Representative Beasley served as a Captain in the United States Army, Medical Services Corp. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Eufaula/Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Barbour County Hospital Board, and the Auburn Alumni Association. Additionally, he is a past President of both the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association and Clayton Rotary Club.
