Representative Dexter Grimsley was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives on November 2, 2010.
He was born and raised in Abbeville and has remained in that area ever since.
Representative Grimsley is a 1989 graduate of Abbeville High School and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
He has been the chief juvenile probation officer for Henry County since 1995.
