Lieutenant Governor Windom was born on November 6, 1949, in Florence, South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Alabama with B.S. and J.D. degrees. Lieutenant Governor Windom served in the Senate from 1989-1998, and served as Lt. Governor, 1999-2003. He is married to the former Mary Becker of Bay Minette, and the father of two sons: Robert and Thomas. Lieutenant Governor Windom is a Republican, a Baptist, a member of the Mobile Lions Club, and the Bar Association. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
